As a condition of the acquisition Yellowstone Fitness has negotiated a long term lease with the owners of West Park Promenade, formerly West Park Plaza, and will continue to operate in the same location.

Christensen is a longtime resident of Yellowstone County. Currently he and business partner Jamey Eisenbarth own and operate the Hardin Chevrolet Auto Companies in Hardin and Hardin Auto West on Central Avenue in Billings. Christensen has also been a partner in the Christensen Family Farm & Ranch west of Billings for many years. While they will continue to retain their interests in these companies, Eisenbarth will oversee and manage the dealerships, while Christensen will oversee and manage Yellowstone Fitness.

As the owner and operator of Yellowstone Fitness, Christensen has a strong foundation in the industry. He has been a member and instructor for over 15 years. He firmly believes that through local ownership and management they can respond quickly to the needs of their members.

Yellowstone Fitness has a goal to exceed the standards of fitness in Billings. In an effort to ensure their commitment of providing a state of the art facility and experience for their members, they will be investing over a half million dollars in improvements within the first four months of the acquisition. Some of the new renovations will include: a new entry, lobby and reception area; a member lounge with comfortable guest seating, fireplace and free Wi-Fi; a coffee and juice bar along with a retail area offering work-out gear, vitamins and supplements; and equipment upgrades to the existing pool, sauna, and steam room will be installed. Additionally, new spinning bikes and treadmills equipped with individual cardio monitors and Wi-Fi and several industry leading cardio machines. New weight lifting machines, along with new and exciting core workout machines will also be added for members. Yellowstone Fitness will also offer one of the industry’s leading Cross-fit/Boot Camp courses, a feature not available in any other fitness center anywhere in the United States, until now! The course will be available in early September as other facility renovations are completed.
