MACK Productions Inc. and the Red Door Lounge Present Rockin the Rims on the Yellowstone, a summer music festival in Coulson Park. The Billings Parks and Recreation Department is currently landscaping, seeding and beautifying the largest riverfront park in our area in preparation for Billings’ next big annual event, “Rockin’ the Rims on the Yellowstone”, set for Saturday, August 16, 2014.

The park is Coulson Park. The event, Rockin’ the Rims, is a Summer Music Festival. Plans for this year’s festival will include continuous music on two stages from 11am to 10pm, a variety of vendors including arts, crafts, jewelry, textiles, food and more. The event will also feature game areas for both children and adults, from inflatable attractions to a high powered paint ball course. Although alcohol will be served, alcohol free zones are also part of the plan, thanks to a contribution from Pepsi.

If you’re wondering about the music, the entertainment will appeal to all ages. Some of the entertainers currently booked are John Anderson, Stoney LaRue, JB and the Moonshine Band, The Bus Driver Tour, and The Black Lillies. These artists have won American Country Music Awards, have been listed on BillBoard’ top 5, appeared at the Grand Ole Opry, and have played at music festivals such Bonnaroo.

Tickets are currently on sale for this event. All-day passes are available for $40 or you can purchase an “After 6pm” pass for $25. For tickets visit the event website, www.RockinTheRims.com or call or email MACK Productions at 406-294-9116, info@MackProductionsInc.com.
