Following the recent success of its contemporary portrait exhibition, Face to Face, Wall to Wall, the Yellowstone Art Museum is pleased to announce an additional look at this timeless genre in Forward Facing: A Look at Portraits by Twentieth-Century Masters. The exhibition consists of five paintings and one sculpture on loan to the museum from an anonymous lender who is committed to collecting masterworks by some of the most notable nineteenth- and twentieth-century artists.

The Billings Symphony Orchestra & Chorale, under the direction of Maestra Anne Harrigan, enters its 64th season presenting Up Close and Personal with cellist Marc Coppey, which features Beethoven’s landmark Fifth Symphony and Dvorák’s Cello Concerto, on Sat., September 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Alberta Bair Theater (ABT). Concert Cues, an interactive discussion of the evening’s musical selections led by Marvin Granger with Coppey begins at 6:45 p.m., and is free to all ticket holders.
