Pandas are one of the world’s most unique and adored bears.

Pabu is ZooMontana’s resident Red Panda

Panda lovers and conservationists continue to be dedicated to protecting and restoring the Panda habitats, and you can see why! These beloved bears are not only adorable, they are great at making their habitat a home. Their black and white colors help protect them; the white fur helps camouflage in the snow and the black helps in the shade.

Pandas have priorities!
Try eating bamboo all day! The panda diet is primarily bamboo and they eat two different types to avoid starvation.

Like domestic cats, giant panda bears have vertical slits for pupils.

Pandas have become endangered and that’s why the work and protection of zoos all over the world is so important to the species survival.
