UPDATE: Intersection opened again around 11:50am Tuesday morning to traffic, according to Sgt. Stovall.

Original: Crash scene investigators are on scene of a vehicle crash involving a man who was allegedly sitting on the road and was hit and killed by a car.

The 47-year-old Billings man died at the scene and the driver of the vehicle stayed at accident and is cooperating with the investigation.
Members of the BPD Crash Investigation Team are currently on scene.

“Please avoid the 600 block of Central Avenue as the road will be closed. Please check back for updates on the road reopening,” said Sgt. Kaiser.
