UPDATE: Zimmerman Trail closed due to flooding and falling rocks; Major Flooding on Broadwater and Grand Avenues shut down portions of road

ABC FOX Anchor brings you the latest from the closure of Zimmerman Trail Road because of flooding and falling rocks.

UPDATE 6:15AM: ROAD CLOSURE
Zimmerman Trail from Rimrock Rd to Hwy 3 is being temporarily shut down due to large falling rocks caused by the rains.
“The City Of Billings Street Department are on duty and working on the problem,” said Sgt. Mansur

TRAFFIC ALERT: BPD reports as of 3:30am Saturday Broadwater Avenue from 27th Street West to 36th Street West is completely flooded. Zimmerman Trail from Broadwater to Grand Ave is also flooded.
“Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas, as your vehicle may become disabled,” said Sgt. Mansur.

Earlier on Friday night the 21st Street Underpass and North 13th Street Underpass we’re completely shut down to all traffic due to flooding.

“Please find an alternate route. Do not attempt to drive through flooded areas, as your vehicle may become disabled,” said Sgt. Schnelbach.
