Yellowstone County Deputy Coroner Valerie Juhl has released the name of the man killed late Saturday night in Billings. He is 55-year-old Kenton Youngbear-Lovan of Billings.

The Yellowstone County Coroner’s Office ruled the manner of death accidental caused by blunt force trauma injuries.

Youngbear-Lovan was riding his motorcycle late Saturday night when he and another motorcycle rider crashed near the intersection of Fourth Avenue North and North 24th Street.

Youngbear-Lovan was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.

All of 4th Avenue remained closed from North 25th Street to North 26th Street in Billings after the fatal motorcycle accident.

According to BPD Sgt. Mansur, the fatal motorcycle accident happened at 11:45pm Saturday night. One other person was injured critically. That name has not been released.

The accident happened in the same area a 24-year-old motorcyclist died recently. Mary Beth Dickson has more.
