A Billings man has been officially charged with robbery and remanded into the YCDF after a brazen attempt to rob a woman who shot him and another man during the incident.
The Billings woman shot the two men who allegedly attacked her outside her home.
Billings police report the 25-year-old woman shot the men in an apparent case of self-defense.
37-year-old Chris Sanders has been wanted on a warrant for the robbery of a woman in the 2000 block of Cook Avenue on January 28, 2023.
Two men were shot but didn’t have life-threatening injuries.
Billings police said this is a clear case of the victim using a firearm for self-defense and the law is clear on people’s right to use self-defense when they are legitimately threatened.
