The City of Billings is posting an advisory and warning about another round of relentless rainfall that could produce flash flooding in the City and County.

Storm moving in again to Yellowstone County bringing with it the potential for heave rain and flash flooding.

Ominous clouds and dark sky rolled in late Tuesday afternoon bringing with them more rain and the possibly the same flooding could happen.

“Areas of flash flooding are expected to continue across south-central MT with the threat extending into northern MT and northern WY through the remainder of the afternoon into the evening,” forecasted Billings NWS.

Look for rain showers and scattered thunderstorms in the evening, then slight chance of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms overnight.
Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall like we experienced over the weekend in Billings and surrounding areas.

Lows will be in the upper 50’s with a 60% chance of rain.
