

Assistant Deputy Coroner Rich Hoffman released the name of the 25-year-old man who was allegedly shot and killed in the 200 block of North 18th on March 20th.
He is a Billings resident and his name is Salimon Nava, Sr.
Coroner Hoffman tells Billings Breaking Nava, Sr. died from a single gunshot wound to the head.

The billings police department is investigating his death as a homicide.
“Around 3 a.m. the Billings Police Department patrol was dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of North 18th for a possible disturbance. Upon arriving on scene Officers located two subjects at the residence. One of the subjects, a 25 year old male was deceased from an apparent gun shot wound,” said Lt. Matt Lennick.
The BPD Investigations Division was called to the scene and have now determined the death is possibly connected to a domestic dispute.
All of the people involved are cooperating with investigators.
At this time no arrests have been made, and detectives will continue to investigate.
