Icy morning commute Tuesday in Billings, MT

Definitely leave at least a car length between you and the driver in front of you Tuesday morning.

The NWS forecasted up to 4-6 inches of snow by the time this snowstorm moves through Billings and surrounding areas.

The snow started to fall about 2am Tuesday and the roads were quickly covered and it’s a sheet of ice on many main roads.

The City of Billings is on the slick streets policy. It means if you should get into a non-injury car crash, exchange information and call in the information within 24 hours.

The NWS is forecasting light snow to fall on and off throughout the day. The Billings NWS measured 3.3″ at the office on the West End.
