WOW! Here’s a story of an amazing police offer, K9 Hati!

Her nose did the job on Sunday, October 9 when she was asked to track a lost little 7-year-old boy who had been reported missing in the brush by his Mom in Rosevelt County.

RCSO Deputy Michael Ellerton and K9 Hati successfully tracked the lost child for about 1.5 miles until she located the exhausted child laying down in some brush and found him in good condition; K9 Hati usually uses her phenomenal tracking skills for narcotic detection and human tracking.

The boy, Gabriel, was in good health and promptly returned to his very happy mother and he now has a great new friend in K9 Hati!

Hati has been with the RCSO for nearly two years she is a great asset to our community and all MT communities because she can be called in to work on any case in the state. She and her Officer take great pride in helping in any way they can, especially when they can find a lost child..

Roosevelt County Sheriff Frederick is asking everyone, if you happen to see her, be sure to give her a scratch behind the ear and let her know what a good girl she is and how incredible her lifesaving hard work is.
