Billings has spent the latter part of the week getting around in a whopper of a snowstorm and streets are now piled up in the middle with feet of plowed snow.

Another storm rolled in Friday night and is keeping things very cold and driving conditions treacherous.

The BPD Issued a slick streets policy mid-week and extended it as the snow accumulation continued. There are still streets, back roads and areas of the city that did not get heavily plowed so please continue to take your time driving around the city and on residential streets.

Smaller cars can become stuck and high center on the higher snowplowed rows on Billings’ major roads.

Kudos to the City of Billings for getting out ahead of this storm and not only sanding heavy traffic intersections but also plowing aggressively to make roads passible.

You can always use 511 for road condition updates.
