Our labor force, American work ethic and drive IS hard news. It drives our economy and our morale as Americans to take pride in our country’s products and ingenuity.
We’re coming up on Labor Day weekend after surviving historically high gas prices, an unpredictable inflation rate and a continued post-covid search for workers and businesses to stay strong and carry on.
Here it is, it’s okay to celebrate YOU this Labor Day! Keep up the great work – and try not to work for just one day.
Labor Day pays tribute to the contributions and achievements of American workers and is traditionally observed on the first Monday in September. It was created by the labor movement in the late 19th century and became a federal holiday in 1894. Make this Labor Day an honest to goodness holiday for the worker- YOU – no matter what your work entails. And yes Mom and Dad, that can mean parenting too!
Happy Labor Day, Billings and America!
