UPDATE: 29th Street reopened.
A man was hit by a train while crossing the tracks early Tuesday morning in Billings.
BPD Sgt. Weston said the man was struck at the 29th Street railroad crossing just after 5am.
29th Street is CLOSED. The BPD does not know when the area will be reopened on Tuesday.
