“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
-Winston Churchill
In 2008, Subaru started the “Share the Love” event as a way to help make a difference in people’s lives and their communities. In Billings, the Share the Love event benefitted Famiky Service to help local families with everything from food and clothing to educational opportunities for better paying job opportunities.
Rimrock Subaru recently presented a check to Family Service for $22,000 to help provide basic necessities for families in need.
“A line of people starts outside our door at 8am these days of people needing food. We don’t even open our doors until 10am and it’s a sign people are truly in need right now,” said Family Service Executive Director Ryan Cremer.
The check was presented by CEO Steve Zabawa during the Share the Love fundraising event in Billings. “Rimrock Subaru is proud to give to Family Service for our community families in need,” said Zabawa.
“This money is a game changer for people who truly need the basics including clothing, food and everyday needs,” Cremer said.
