The Billings Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform a December concert as part of their 15th season featuring four orchestras with students from preschool to college age.

These incredibly talented musicians come from diverse backgrounds and include home-schooled students and students from outlying rural schools.

The BYSO is a premier orchestral experience for talented young musicians and auditions are open to all students who are interested in learning to play their instrument of choice in an orchestral setting.

The Fall Concert is being held Sunday, December 4th at the Lockwood Performing Arts Center and begins at 4pm with an impressive group of concert directors and coaches including Barb Kirk, Katie Krumdieck, Lindsey Selman, Randy Tracy and Sue Logan.

You can look forward to hearing Tchaikovsky’s “Themes from the Nutcracker” and “The Shepherd King: Overture” by Wolfgang Mozart to list just a few.
