Dr. Erin Hixson from RiverStone Health joins Hello Montana to talk about the importance of routine for children in the summer. Be sure your kiddos get plenty of time outdoors to stay active and ensure their skin is protected from the sun by using plenty of sunscreen. It is also important for them to keep a consistent eating and bedtime schedule over the summer. Kids should also wear lifejackets if they are doing anything in water and bike helmets if they are doing something on wheels.
