The era of food trucks has hit Billings and shows no signs of stopping. One event showcases different food trucks in the area: Foodtruckpalooza. The food truck event happens every Saturday in the summer from 11 am to 3 pm at Cabela’s.
Sherie Brooks of Gold and Black Event Planning organized the event and knows many food truck owners in town from other events she puts on. Brooks got the ideas from food truck owners from places like Florida and California. Bigger cities have different events like a food truck circus where different food trucks father in the same place at the same time but feature different food trucks each time for a variety of choices.
With over 80 registered food trucks in Yellowstone County, showing all of the great food trucks from an event like foodtruckpalooza is a must! The first foodtruckpalooza begins June 11 with three confirmed trucks at the event. Big Sky Donuts, Let’s Get Fresh, and Taste So Good will be there, offering delicious food items for others to enjoy. Two more openings are available, so if you are a food truck owner and want to participate in the event, reach out to Balck and Gold event planning.
The end of July and most of August are almost entirely booked for the event. Summertime and food trucks are the perfect things to combine on a Saturday. Check out the event’s Facebook page to see what local food trucks will be at each foodtruckpalooza!
