The first day of Fall is September 22, meaning it’s time to bring out the comfy sweaters and enjoy cooler weather. Several events in and around Billings can help get you excited for the upcoming season. 

The Montana Brewing Company is hosting its 2022 Harvestfest on Saturday, October 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place at Skypoint in downtown Billings, with all kinds of fun things happening. On top of live entertainment and food trucks, there will also be arts and crafts for the kiddos High Plains Brewing in Laurel, Montana, is also hosting its annual HarvestFest 2022. The all-day event starts on September 17 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will also be a variety of food trucks and live music from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Thirsty Street Brewing at the Garage hosts a Harvest Hafla organized by Bindi Belly Dance. Witness a live belly dance performance while enjoying a fantastic beer selection. The event starts on October 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The 24th annual Red Lodge Oktoberfest begins September 12 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Red Lodge Ales Event Center. The event will have authentic german food, fun games, live music, and of course, beer! All ages are welcome at Oktoberfest, and ages 12 and under get into the event for free. The event is hosted by Red Lodge Ales and the Beartooth Recreation Trails Association. The money raised from entry fees goes directly to the trails association. 

The Rimrock Mall in Billings hosts the Fall Craft and Vendor Fair on September 16 – 18 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. This event is a great way to support Montana’s local businesses, crafters, and makers. The fair will be located at the old Herbergers location in the mall.

There is a candle-pouring class at the Liberty and Vine Country Store. Guests can make their seasonal candles. The event starts on October 2 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There are plenty of scents to choose from, including apple cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, caramel apple swirl, iced cinnamon bun, and more.
