Something fun (and educational) is always happening at the Billings Public Library. Here is a quick rundown of events happening in September for the whole family to enjoy!

For those who love playing Dungeons and Dragons, the library has you covered. D&D for grownups ages 18 and up is on September 3 and 17 from 1 pm – 4 pm in the Yellowstone Board Room. There is also Teens D&D  every Saturday for the month from 12 pm – 2 pm in the Tech Lab.

Brush up on Spanish speaking skills by attending Hablar Conmigo at Rail Line Coffee from 10 am to 11 am. The event happens every Thursday in September at the same time and place. Come practice speaking Spanish with others and have fun with it! Work alongside the presenter, who is also working on speaking fluent Spanish.

The library is also hosting two sessions of Yoga in the Park at Pioneer Park on September 14. One session is from 9 am – 10 am, and the second is from 10 am – 11 am. The event is set up north of the tennis courts at Pioneer park. If you get lost, look for the Bookmobile!

Friday Night Fun is planned for September 9 in the Community Room. This event is open to all ages. Stay tuned for more details! An Artxbpl event is scheduled for September 16 from 6:30-7:30 pm in the Community Room. The event features Arc: A Montana Dance Collective. Guests who attend can see the beauty behind art and dancing. This Artxbpl event is free and open for anyone to attend.

BSO Adventures in Music is September 17 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Community Room. This family-friendly event allows the opportunity to learn and try different orchestra instruments with the musical instrumental petting zoo. Members of the Billings Symphony Orchestra will be present to show others how certain instruments are played. Stay afterward for the Science of Sounds event featuring percussionists of the Billings Symphony.

Look out for the Bookmobile that brings library services right to you throughout the month. The Bookmobile has free books, wifi, and other library materials others can check out or return. Click here for a complete list of fun and interactive events at the Billings Public Library.
