The Billings TailNet is gearing up for its 20th annual Ales for Trails event on September 9 at ZooMontana for ages 21 and over. Ales for Trails celebrates Billings’s biking and walking trails, all while fundraising to make the trails even better.
Sponsorships and ticket sales go towards enhancing trails around the Magic City. Past Ales for Trails events have raised over one million dollars for the Billings Trail system, with more than 500,000 of that money going toward trail projects and other amenities.
Guests who attend can expect lots of fun at the event with more than 45 microbrews selections around the region and fine wine, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options. Live entertainment from the Billings Band Repeat Offenders will make the event fun and inviting for all patrons! Delicious local food trucks will also be on-site at the event as well.
Several volunteer positions are available for those wanting to help at the event. Weather permitting will not be a factor; Ales for Trails will happen rain or shine. Management at Ales for Trails has the right at their discretion to remove anyone who appears overly intoxicated, belligerent, or violent. Drinks can only be provided in sampler cups provided at the event.
Remember to have fun but stay safe and drink responsibly. Have a designated driver after the event so as not to drink and drive. Advanced Ales for Trials ticket sales end on September 4, so get your tickets today!
