If you need a car wash or oil change tomorrow, stop by MasterLube! Seniors across all Billings high schools and Laurel high school will be at several MasterLube locations Saturday to help fundraise for their graduation parties that celebrate their accomplishment of graduating high school.

All Masterlube locations participate in the fundraising event, where staff, students, and other volunteers help with car washes and oil changes. There will also be a barbecue during the all-day event as well. Participating schools include Skyview at the Main Street location in the heights, West at the King Avenue location, and Senior high at the Grand location. The Billings Central location is on 4th Avenue North, and Laurel High School is on the 4th Street Masterlube location in Laurel.

The money raised from the event goes towards their all-night graduation party for each high school, with big turnouts of nearly every senior attending the event. There are also plenty of opportunities to win all kinds of prizes with plenty of fun games and activities for seniors to enjoy. Students also get the chance to win money during the all-night party.

The graduation party is organized by parents who start meeting in January to begin the planning process. They find sponsors, raise money and host the parties, and their work doesn’t stop until the party ends. They also clean up after the event. These all-night graduation parties have been happening for over 20 years. The event is a memorable way to end the school year a celebrate a job well done for graduating seniors.

On top of the Grad Day fundraiser, there is also the “War of the Walls” contest at each location. Students from each high school create a mural design for their MasterLube location which is painted on the wall. The winning wall for the contest is picked Saturday, May 14.
