Reds, Whites, and Brews is the open fundraising event for the 10th season at the NOVA center for the performing arts. The event takes place at the center on Aug. 27 at 6 p.m.

Come for a night of food, drinks, and entertainment while supporting a great cause to keep the performing arts alive in the Billings community! Throughout the night, singers from the opera Carmen’s Tragedy will showcase some of the songs in the show that starts at the end of September. Youth actors from the production of Tinker Bell will also perform bits from the show. There will also be director’s notes of upcoming performances and much more.

Funds raised from tickets for the event will provide scholarships for ongoing classes and kids’ summer camp held at NOVA, giving kids and adults around the community an opportunity to learn more about performing arts.

The next fundraising event for 2022 is the Auction of Arias, happening on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. This fundraiser will take place in downtown Billings at the McCormick Cafe. Auction for Arias is one of the most popular fundraisers for the center featuring regional and national opera performers. The performers sing several opera songs from Mozart, Puccini, and even a few broadway tunes.

Local and regional opera performers will also offer selections of songs from Carmen’s Tragedy. Guests at the event will also get a chance to chat and mingle with some of the signers at the event.

Reds Whites and Blues is a great event to attend as a farewell to summer and gives others a chance to see everything happening at the NOVA Center for the Performing Arts for the upcoming season. If you can’t make it, fear not: there are plenty of other fundraising events to attend in 2022-2023.
