Summer is right around the corner, meaning kids are out of school and they are looking for fun things to do. Check out these lodges this summer that the whole family can enjoy.

According to Only in Your State, there are several lodges located near Glacier National Park, one of Montana’s most popular parks.

One lodge you can visit is Glacier Guides Lodge. This location has beautiful scenery and is jam packed with plenty of things to do. There is guided biking and rafting. You can go white water rafting or take it slow with a scenic float. You can also fish and hike to explore the great outdoors. Pick from three different lodge experiences.

The family owned and operated Timber Wolf Resort is less than nine miles from Glacier National Park and offers both RV and tent camping. There are over four types of cabins to choose form. Free Wi-Fi is included with each cabin rental.

Park Cabin Company is also another place to explore in Babb, Montana. The company was established over five years ago and is also located on the Blackfeet reservation. There are one-to-two-bedroom cabins to choose from.

Another lodge area to explore is Montana’s Duck Lake Lodge located on the Blackfeet reservation. This lodge is close to the famous going-to-the-sun road. The lodge offers year-round fishing and is less than ten miles from the Canadian border.

The Glacier Park Lodge is one of the oldest resorts in Montana, established over one hundred years ago. There is also the Great Northern dining room where the food is farm to table. There is also golfing, road biking, horse back riding and even zip lining.

There are also six hiking trails to choose from in this area. Hike and see Avalanche lake, Apgar lookout, McDonald creek, Bowman Lake, Twin Falls, or Cracker Lake.
