Country music lovers in Billings will love the artist coming to the Pub Station on Saturday, September 10. The press release says William Clark Green is originally from Texas and has had sold-out venues across the U.S.

Green will be playing some of his signature songs, plus songs from his latest album, Baker Hotel, which was released in March. The album sheds light on some of Green’s past experiences. His sounds are described as contemporary roots, with notes of indie folk, southern rock, and swampy country. Clark’s music is perfect for a long road trip across the Treasure State.

When performances were put on hold two years ago at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Green re-assed himself as an artist, which led up to his latest album. The album showcases self-reflection, especially after Green celebrated his 35 birthday.

“Not being able to work [during the lockdown], I had a lot of time to sit and think about myself, and what’s really locking me down, and that’s what I think this album is all about,” Green said in a press release. Baker hotel shows a lens of hte human experience that others can easily relate to. His first single from the album, “All You Got,” is a potential breakup song with fun pop rock sounds sure to get anyone out of their seat.

Green has certainly made its mark as a singer, songwriter, and performer. His work is a contemporary blend of so many colorful music styles and explores numerous avenues of life and growth as an individual. William Clark Green’s performance will surely be an enriching musical experience for all who attend.
