Billings Police Department releases information on fatal South Billings Blvd crash

On 11/14/2020 at about 9:46 PM, an Officer with the Billings Police Department (BPD) attempted to make a traffic stop on a white Ford F-150 that ran a red light at South Billings and Midland Road.

The vehicle fled northbound on South Billings Blvd at a high rate of speed. The Officer did not pursue the vehicle. The vehicle proceeded northbound on South Billings Blvd, lost control, left the roadway, rolled, and struck the Mountain Supply building, located at 534 S Billings Blvd.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, a 32 year old female from Wyoming, was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to a local medical facility by ambulance where she later died.

The investigation remains on-going and is being handled by the department’s serious injury / fatal crash team. The identity of the deceased will be released by the County Coroner per their procedure.
