Billings Public Library will host Sharon Wetsch on Wednesday, May 1st, to give a presentation on container gardening as part of the Library’s Gardening Series.  The program will be held in the Billings Public Library Community Room at 5:00 pm.

Join Sharon as she demonstrates the steps for planting beautiful and productive containers with both flowers and vegetables. Participants will have a chance to take home some of Sharon’s creations.  This one-hour program is free and co-sponsored by the Yellowstone County Master Gardeners.
Sharon Wetsch learned to love the taste of fresh vegetables as a child helping in her huge family gardens.  In 2007, she took her lifelong gardening passion to the next level by taking Master Gardener classes, rising to the highest level in the program, Master Gardener 3.  She helped organize the formation of the Yellowstone County Master Gardener Association serving as Vice President for 6 years.  Her latest accomplishment has been to design and build a brand new Plant Select Demo Garden at ZooMontana.  This area will showcase plants that are hardy, drought resistant, and acclimated to Yellowstone County growing conditions.  Sharon teaches the Master Gardener Level 2 classes each year and was selected as Master Gardener of the Year for Montana for 2014-15.
