The BPD is continuing to ask the public for any information about an alleged kidnapping that happened in the early morning hours of Friday.

Police report officers responded to a weapons call in the 3000 block of 4th street at 3:33 am Friday morning.

Although there was no injury reported by police, a male victim was allegedly forced into a vehicle at gunpoint.

Detectives were looking for a silver or grey 2007 Mitsubishi with a loud muffler and a Hispanic man in his 20’s, and the vehicle was found according to Sgt. Wooley but he says the investigation is ongoing and there have not been any arrests yet.
