BPD provides update on shooting investigation

Billings Area Highlights

On November 21st, shortly after 9 AM, Officers with the BPD attempted to stop a black SUV as part of follow up investigation in association with a recent shooting in the 900 block of South 29th on 11/20/2019. The vehicle fled from Officers in the area of Hilltop and Main and ultimately crashed into a police car in the area of 6th Ave North and North 13th. There were no injuries.

Three (3) subjects in the vehicle were detained by police. The driver, MARLENA BIGDAY, a 46 year old female from Billings was arrested for Felony Criminal Endangerment, Felony Obstructing Justice, and other misdemeanor and traffic offenses. She was remanded into custody at YCDF.
MARLIN PAKER, a 24 year old Billings man, was arrested for outstanding warrants, Felony Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Robbery, & Attempted Deliberate Homicide in relation to the shooting on 11/20/2019. PARKER was remanded at YCDF. The third subject, an 18 year old Male from Billings, was released from the scene.

The shooting investigation remains on-going.
