Face mask Required for all City of Billings employees, volunteers, and customers

Billings Area Highlights

Effective July 15, 2020, Governor Bullock ordered mandatory mask use in all public spaces for counties experiencing four (4) or more active cases of COVID-19. Any person, over the age of five (5), entering City buildings or using City transit services are required to wear a mask. Masks are not required to be worn at the swimming pools or when social distancing is able to be practiced outdoors in City parks. If social distancing is unable to be practiced outdoors in group gatherings of fifty or more, masks must be worn.

City Administrator Chris Kukulski stated: “This mandate will help mitigate the spread of the disease, while also ensuring our offices and services to the public remain open. We can all do our part to practice the three Ws: wash your hands, wear a mask, and watch your distance.”

The City of Billings’ offices reserve the right to refuse service to anyone not complying with the order. Medical exemptions will be honored.
