Open House to Discuss Airport Road and Main Street Intersection Improvement Project

BILLINGS, MONTANA (January 28, 2020) – The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) welcomes the community to attend an open house for the Airport Road and Main Street Intersection Improvement Project. The open house will be held in Billings on Thursday, February 13, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at MetraPark in the Yellowstone Room (308 6th Avenue North, at the Grandstands).

The open house is designed to be an informal event for residents to meet the MDT project team managing this project. As such, no structured program will be presented. Information regarding the preferred design concept for the project and more will be available.

“We’re excited to discuss the project concept to address the capacity and queuing issues, safety and mobility needs, pavement, and the pedestrian and bicycle environment,” said Rod Nelson, MDT District Administrator.

An important part of properly planning for future projects is partnering with the community. Montana Department of Transportation welcomes the public to provide ideas and comments on the proposed project.
